Bad Bunny promised a party during the Super Bowl halftime show at Levi’s Stadium—and delivered. No Spanish required, just a willingness to move. And move we did.
The performance was a joyful mix of Puerto Rican pride, family tributes, football flair, and yes—a real, live wedding. The couple weren’t actors either. They invited Bad Bunny to their wedding, and he returned the favor by inviting them to get married in front of the world.
There were surprise guests (hello, Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin), nonstop dancing, and a crowd that was more than happy to turn the stands into a dance floor.
I don’t speak much Spanish anymore, but it didn’t matter. Good music doesn’t need subtitles. When the beat hits, your feet understand.
There were thoughtful details too: Bad Bunny wore a No. 64 jersey as a tribute to his late uncle, and he ended the show by spiking a football labeled “Together, we are America.” Message received.
Despite skeptics claiming he’d turn fans away, the opposite happened. Thousands sang along. The vibe was electric. Honestly, the party could’ve gone longer.
I loved his message during that performance. It felt unifying, inclusive, and celebrated diversity and culture. When I saw the football and the saying written on it and the billboard I knew I had to design a poster for it.
