Little Shop of Horrors Halloween Group Costume

Ok, so i've wanted to make the Audrey II plant from Little Shop of Horrors for a long time now. This was the year! It turned out great. My coworker Bob has been told he looks like Rick Moranis so he volunteered to be Seymour while his wife April got in to character as Audrey (complete with a black eye). My favorite character is the dentist from the movie so I made the laughing gas contraption and there you have it. A group costume. They all turned out great! You got to see the plant in motion. Making this plant from Little Shop of Horrors has been on my list for a while now. I love how it turned out. The video shows sort of my process. Obviously should have taken more pictures to better describe but hopefully it gives you the idea. Go make one!

UPDATE!!!  Many of you have asked some great questions on my YouTube tutorial of this. When I was building it, I never intended to make a step by step video. But turns out many of you want to make your own and now I wish I gave you better details of my process. I've tried to answer your questions but I think some more pictures might be even better. So I'll post them here and hopefully that helps. Basically, I didn't know what I was doing and solved my problems on the fly. My advice is get started and you'll likely do the same.
