Halloween is one of my favorite times of year because it gives me an excuse to break out the face paints and get creative! I love transforming people into different characters, especially when I get to experiment with dramatic shading, bold colors, and a little theatrical flair.
For this look, I transformed my sister Gina into Scar from Disney's The Lion King. With exaggerated eyebrows, dramatic eyes, feline features, and, of course, that signature scar, I wanted to capture the sinister personality of one of Disney's most iconic villains.
What I love most about face painting is watching a character come to life with every brushstroke. It's a different kind of canvas than I'm used to, but just as much fun!
And honestly, who doesn't love being a Disney villain for a night?
