I love Halloween because it gives me the perfect excuse to break out the face paints and get creative. Face painting is always so much fun for me, and I especially love using makeup to turn a face into a full character.
For this look, I created a stitched, patchwork design that definitely gives me Sally vibes from The Nightmare Before Christmas. I loved playing with the soft pastel colors, bold stitched lines, and pieced-together sections to make the whole look feel whimsical, spooky, and a little eerie all at the same time.
One of my favorite parts of doing Halloween makeup is finding ways to mix creepy and beautiful together, and this look was a perfect example of that. I always enjoy seeing an idea come to life one detail at a time.
Halloween makeup is such a fun creative outlet, and looks like this are exactly why I love this time of year so much.
